Loading your Card

Salary Loading

To have your wages paid regularly on to your card, please fill in a wage transfer request and give it to your employer. Incoming amounts will normally be loaded to your card within 24 hours of us receiving them.

A standing order instruction for your bank is also available here should you or someone else wish to make regular payments onto your card.

If you or someone you know wants to make a one off BACS or home banking transfer onto your card, please use the following account and reference information:

There is no charge for loading your ClearCash card in this way.

PayPoint Loading

You can also load any spare cash you may have onto your card at a PayPoint outlet. Use the PayPoint locator to find out where you can do this. Simply hand over your card and ask them to swipe it through the PayPoint machine and hand over the cash you want to load. Please note that a 3% fee will apply and will be deducted from your card balance immediately. Funds loaded via PayPoint are available to be spent immediately. You can load a maximum of 2 transactions and £500 per day via PayPoint.

Post Office Loading

Another option for loading cash is at a Post Office branch. Use the Post Office branch locator to find out where you can do this. Again, tell the assistant that you would like to load the card and hand them cash. Make sure you get a receipt! Cash loaded at the post office is normally loaded on the next business day but can take up to 48 hours. You can load a maximum of £500 per day via the Post Office. There is NO CHARGE for loading at the Post Office.

Cheque to Card Loading

ClearCash offers extremely competitive rates for Cheque Cashing when compared to high street cheque cashers.

ClearCash icount holders can now cash cheques and have them loaded on to their ClearCash prepaid card and icount.

Simply send us your cheque along with the Cheque Deposit form

Please read the following important information before sending us your cheque

  • It is essential to fill the form out in full with your details and 16 digit card number starting 5195
  • The form must be completed and signed to ensure the cheque processed correctly
  • Cheques must be made payable to the ClearCash icount holder only
  • Cheques are sent to our cheque cashing partner, e-panurgy and will take 6 working days to clear
  • Once cleared, the funds will be sent to us and will be applied to your card on the next working day
  • Cash cheques or endorsed cheques cannot be accepted
  • The maximum cheque amount we can accept is £3,000. You may be contacted to provide more information for cheques over £1,500
  • If for some reason a cheque does not clear, it will be sent back to you and an administration fee of £7.00 will be charged
  • If you decide to represent this cheque and again it does not clear, the cheque will no longer be accepted and a further administration fee of £7.00 will be taken from your icount
